     YOU will want to get a DVD Drive replacement if your drive can no longer read games after cleaning the laser = $70.00 w / installation or $30.00 if you already bought a DVD drive. You need to make sure you still have the original Drive. It contains the key.

     I have repaired countless Xbox 360s and have over 14 years computer experience!

      Don't just let anyone try and fix your Xbox 360! Ask how someone fixes your Xbox 360. Take it elsewhere if they only do the x-clamp fix. It is not good enough!!!!!!!!!

     The motherboard needs to be professionally preheated (Hot Air Bath) and reflowed, Arctic Silver Thermal Compound needs to be added with the heatsinks, and the fan should (12V Mod) be modified.

If you are interested, I also have a Unique Cooling Modification that makes the motherboard run cooler than just the 12V Fan Modification. This makes the Xbox 360 properly cool, just like a PC Tower Case. Holes can be placed in the top front section above the PCU Heatsink, and you don't need to worry about dust completely blocking the chassis, because you can see if the heatsink is accumulating dust. No Competitor does this, especially for this low price. Not only did Microsoft use lead-free solder, they also used the weakest grade. This means it takes less heating and cooling cycles to make the solder brittle when compared to higher quality solder.

* Motherboards that easily warp or have been badly warped from overheating have a higher chance of lasting for a long time (Any type of reflow procedure (Infrared (IR) Reflow and Convection Reflow) can fail if the board is too warped and not forced to run cooler).

* Direct cool air is pulled through the PCU & GPU Heatsinks (as opposed to from the small holes in the top and sides of the case, and already heated air from the other parts of the motherboard).

* The case works like a PC case, because air flows directly over the PCU (costs much less than adding vents with additional fans mounted in the case). This acts similar to how a fan cools a PCU Heatsink in a Computer.

* You are able to clean the heatsinks and motherboard without opening the case (air compressor or canned air).

Heat sinks are necessary for cooling the heat-generating chips inside your Xbox 360, and dust and debris can not only cling to the blades/walls of the fan, but can also become trapped between the narrow fins of the heat sink. The sides of the internal metal chassis also can become completely blocked with dust, and this limits the air flow.

The heat sink body is the means by which the heat from the chip is transferred to the air. A layer of dust will act as a blanket and insulate the heat sink, thus preventing it from freely exchanging heat with the air. A dirty heat sink will suffer a drop in cooling efficiency, and create a shorter lifespan of your Xbox 360.

* Repair services provided by Quantum Ace Technologies are covered by a 90-day warranty. The 90-day warranty includes all parts installed and labor performed by Quantum Ace Technologies unless otherwise stated.

* None of the warranty coverages will cover surges, damage to ports, liquid damage, physical abuse (e.g. dropped), excessive dust build up (e.g. from being placed on the carpet), and/or insect infestations.

* Parts damaged due to wear and tear (new faults/error codes not related to initial repair), neglect, or acts of nature will not be covered under the warranty

* There is a chance that my system can fail again.

* If the console fails within its warranty and I fail to contact Quantum Ace Technologies before the warranty expires, my system will not be covered and will be subject to normal cost.

* My warranty does not cover any shipping costs.

Service Performed by a non Quantum Ace Technologies technician on previously repaired devices will void the warranty of such repairs.
